Toowong Uniting Church gathers for worship on Sunday Mornings at 9.00am. What are you likely to find? A casually-dressed congregation of varied ages and nationalities worshipping God and enjoying each other’s company in an ordered but informal setting. This usually goes for an hour and 15 minutes. There is a creche for the younger children and babies, a children’s program (KATS – Kids at Toowong on Sunday) for toddlers up to grade 5, and a Junior Youth Program for grades 6 – 8. You are welcome to receive prayer ministry following worship by coming to the front pew of the church on the projection screen side. Someone will be available to pray with you or for you. Everyone is welcome to join us afterwards for morning tea and a chat.
Sunday Twilight is our evening worship time. We meet at 6.00pm on Sundays in the hall to enjoy time together as a community caring for each other and learning about God’s love for us. Whether you’re new to the area and are looking for a supportive community, wanting to know more about the purpose of life and it’s meaning, or simply wanting to say hello, feel free to come along. If you have any questions, or would like to know more, you’re most welcome to join us on a Sunday evening, or get in touch with Duncan Barlow: email@example.com
**As things get quiet over the school holidays, we’ll take a bit of a break from our regular Sunday Twilight worship. Our final gathering for 2017 will be on Christmas Eve. Please join us then for a lovely celebration of Christmas. We will resume in 2018 and will let you know the exact date when it gets a bit closer.**
