Christ Community Church, who worship in the hall at St Ignatius school at 46 Grove Street, have invited us to join them for their 4C “Combined Churches Care and Compassion Day” on Sunday 19 August. This is an opportunity to serve our local community in small teams by doing jobs like gardening, cleaning, washing cars etc. After our usual 9am worship service on Sunday 19 August, we'll walk over to Christ Community Church, meet up with our teams, grab some morning tea and head out to the community. We'll then meet back at the St Ignatius school oval at 1.00pm for a shared lunch. If you're interested in taking part, please register soon via the link above. This will ensure the folks at Christ Community have plenty of time to organise teams and jobs.
