Thank you to everyone who volunteers to help run our kid’s ministry and various events for kids and young people! Many of you will be required to renew your Safe Ministry with Children training either in July this year, or shortly thereafter. All volunteers who work with children, and all church council members, are required to complete this training every 2 years as part of the Safe Ministry with Children Policy. Pastorate meet every second Tuesday night during the school term from 7.00 – 9.00pm. It’s a great way to get to know God while also building friendships with each other. We are currently on a break over the school holidays and the first part of term 3, but will meet again on 7 August. We’d love to see you there!
A sincere thank you to all who donate so generously to the TUC pantry. Recently, the pantry has been able to support a number of people from the community. We are currently in need of the following items: microwave meals/instant meals, canned tuna (different flavours), rice, oil, pasta, black tea. If you’re able to add an extra item to your weekly shop, that would be much appreciated. Pantry donations may be left in the marked box in the church foyer.

The Toowong Stitching and Friendship Group meet during the school term on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesdays of every month. Come along for a chance to learn some craft and sewing skills, and to chat over morning tea.
TUC is calling all interested people to form an International Missions Task Group to seek out ideas on how we can best support and engage with meaningful, life-transforming international Christian missions. The aim of the Task Group will be to discuss and discern how we might better partner with and promote global missions at TUC.
