The Garden is a grace-driven community where university students can belong — just as they are — while exploring life and faith.

The Garden is part of CMFi, a global missions team that works in 25 different countries creating dynamic Christ-centered communities.

The team at The Garden provide weekly events for students where they get to know each other and experience God’s love.

Carly Kies, one of The Garden team members, is also part of the TUC congregation. If you would like to support The Garden and Carly financially, please head here.

The Garden have a house on Hawken Drive, about a 5 minute walk from the University of Queensland St Lucia Campus. During uni semester they host a free Tuesday night dinner/community event at the house as well as a free Thursday lunch. They head on campus on Wednesdays for a catchup at the RedRoom where they continue the conversation from Tuesday night. The Garden team also catch up with students in small groups to chat, listen and pray together and read the bible when they are interested in knowing more about Jesus.

A number of people from TUC have had the opportunity to go along to the Tuesday night gatherings at The Garden house and they’ve all been really encouraged by what a beautiful community this is, sharing Jesus’ love with the students. Let us know if you’d like to come to one of these events and experience The Garden for yourself!
